And I Messed Up My Exam !

And I Messed Up My Exam !

The journey from being an excellent student to just below average, the journey from crying over a loss of 1 mark to celebrating for being able to pass and the journey from school to college wasn't easy for me. I entered here with big dreams full of enthusiasm and now ending this journey with the uncertain hope.

It was a reality check for me. In the gap of 3 months, I had created a full roadmap for me and how I am going to cherish the journey. But life doesn't work as we had planned. As the journey started everything was new for me. There weren't the single faces I knew and I was totally unfamiliar with the place where my college was located.

It was my choice to start my journey from there may be because I wanted to experience something new. I expected too much, created a full scenario in my mind using imagination as much as I could, and also promised myself that I won't be entangled in the backlog cycle after watching hundreds of podcasts.

After the journey started, I became familiar with some of the faces and few become the friends. It was hard for me to socialize especially when I had cut off socializing after the school ended or the situation made me to do so. I had read it somewhere that, the common way for introverts to socialize is the extroverts like them and basically adopt them. I wouldn't consider myself as an introvert but my situation matched the line.

The main problem I and majority of my classmates faced was the vast course difference. The stream "science" sounds so cool but in reality it became living nightmare overtime. In a week we attended over 48 lectures of 48 different teachers and I was exhausted only by memorizing the name of teachers and the subjects they are going to teach.

The few months went memorizing the teacher's name, making piles of notes and being familiar with the unknown faces and place. Time passed by and exam knocked the door. I was consistently studying from the beginning because as I had mentioned earlier, I had watched hundreds of podcasts and had made a clear map mind so I was following that. The only problem was I didn't know what I was studying.

Everything was so confusing and rather to fully concentrate on my study I used to think what am I going to do by reading the identification of plants gender, the family of plants, the hypothesis statement given by one scientist and got rejected by the next one and the never ending cycle of the proposal and rejection.

We were messed up and I messed up my exam. I wasn't alone there, majority of friends too got messed up by the PCMB (physics, chemistry, math, biology). At that moment I learned how to accept the failures even after giving the best.

After that I gave myself a chance and over time I adjusted in the place and in the subjects. I lost my hope each and every day but still I made sure not to lose myself in the process. While giving my best I prioritized myself too. Gradually my results improved too and I was enjoying the journey.

With many ups and downs and with unforgettable memories my journey came to the end in the blink of eye. After all, the most important thing in the journey is I learned a lot. I learned about the phases of life, learned to handle the situation I never thought I could, learned to cherish the journey wherever it led me too.

One thing is for sure that life is unpredictable and we have to be ready to face any kind of challenges whether it's the challenges of life or the challenges that is provided by the problems of Physics.
